A glowing Anne Hathaway has shown off her growing baby bump for the first time posting to Instagram a shot of her in a red bikini.
The Interstellar star decided to post the pic to her two million Instagram followers after she noticed paparazzi taking snaps of her while enjoying a day at the beach.
"Posting a bikini pic is a little out of character for me, but just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed," Hathaway captioned the pic.
"I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least be an image that makes me happy (and one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter:)."
Hathaway revealed in November that she was expecting her first child with husband Adam Shulman, whom she married in 2012.
The soon-to-be mum will this year star in the sequel to the 2010 Alice in Wonderland film, Alice Through The Looking Glass.
Hathaway has starred in many hit films such as Les Miserable and The Devil Wears Prada but despite her success the 32-year-old actress has felt the sting of ageing in Hollywood.
In September, she spoke about being cast aside for younger actors due to her age.
"I can't complain about it because I benefited from it. When I was in my early 20s, parts would be written for women in their 50s and I would get them. And now I'm in my early 30s and I'm like, 'Why did that 24-year-old get that part?'," she told Glamour UK.
"I was that 24-year-old once, I can't be upset about it, it's the way things are."
