Kiwi songstress Kimbra got a pleasant surprise during a stopover at Nadi airport en-route to New Zealand, where she's spending Christmas with family.
After flying into Fiji early this morning the singer was lured out of the Business Class lounge by a familiar tune.
A group of singers had gathered at the airport to sing Kimbra and Gotye's 2011 hit Somebody That I Used to Know.
In a video recorded during the performance a delighted Kimbra grinned and nodded to the beat while recording the tune on her cell phone.
She later posed for photos and sent a message to the performers as well as her New Zealand fans, wishing them a happy holiday.
"I just got to see a special rendition from the Fijian singers, I am very, very honoured," she said.
"Thanks for all your support this 2015 and hope you have a wonderful holiday season," she added.
The impromptu band of singers double as staff from Fiji Airways by day and were joined by two members of popular Fijian band, Makare.
Kimbra later posted a gushing tribute on Instagram.
The first image of Kimbra holding a New Zealand passport was posted on the social media site 21 hours ago.
She was wearing a spotted headscarf and signature bright lippy.
She later added a few travel tips to help her sleep on the plane.
