Eagles of Death Metal, whose gig was attacked by terrorists at Paris's Bataclan theatre, want musicians to cover their music to raise money for victims.
The Californian band says it will donate all publishing income from sales of covers of their song I Love You All the Time to the victims' families.
"We are calling upon our friends to donate their time, talent and good will in a show of solidarity to help the victims of these atrocious acts in Paris," EODM's Josh Homme said in a statement.
"Whether your version is faithful to ours, instrumental, uses only lyrics or fragments thereof, or is completely reimagined in every way, it matters not."
A total 89 of the 130 people killed in the Paris attacks on November 13 were attending their gig at the Bataclan theatre.
