Kate Hudson was all smiles after witnessing a solo haka during an event in Los Angeles.
The petite actress was at a Westfield mall charity event when a shirtless male started performing, seemingly out of the blue.
She posted a video of the haka to her Instagram account with a message saying, "highlight of the evening".
Hudson also thanked the man, understood to be to be Kiwi Whaka Paingia, for "bringing such energy".
In the clip she can be seen grinning ear to ear and clapping excitedly.
As founder of activewear label Fabletics, she was hosting an evening in conjunction with Bright Pink, an organisation dedicated to women dealing with breast or ovarian cancer.
The 36-year-old quipped that the "Maori War Dance" might just become her new red carpet ritual.
It is unclear why Paingia was at the event or what prompted him to take the limelight.
Since it was loaded the video has garnered 30.4 thousand 'likes'.
