British soft-rockers Elbow are set to return to Auckland this November.

Fronted by bearded crooner Guy Garvey, the five-piece will play the Powerstation on November 1 in support of their latest album, The Take Off and Landing of Everything.

They were last here in the same venue in 2012. Read the review here.

Tickets go on sale on August 1, with a My Live Nation pre-sale starting on July 28, and a Ticketmaster pre-sale on July 30.

Meanwhile, American act Prong are planning their first New Zealand visit.

The metal trio known for influencing Nine Inch Nails and Korn will perform at the Powerstation on November 23.

They'll be playing in support of their latest album Ruining Lives.
