Kim Dotcom and his wife Mona announced their split last month after five years of marriage but it appears he's not sitting at home crying about it. The internet millionaire and father-of-five posted a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday appearing in high spirits as he laughed and joked with a mystery woman.
The video, taken by Dotcom, shows an inner-city busker serenading Dotcom's special friend who sits in the back of an SUV, window open, like a visiting celebrity.
The Diary can reveal the mystery woman is Danielle Sharp, a British lad mag model who flew from Manchester to New Zealand to shoot a music video for Dotcom. She will appear on the video for his single To Be With You from the Good Times album.
Danielle Sharp.
However, the 21-year-old platinum blonde tweeted yesterday: "Never thought I would miss England so much." Oh dear.
Sharp's Twitter profile describes her as an "occasional model", gracing the pages of such insalubrious publications as Loaded, Front and Nuts.
Duo's vampire night
"Dead but delicious" is the theme for the red carpet premiere tonight of What We Do In The Shadows at Event Cinemas Broadway, the film by Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement.
The guys will be joined on the "blood-red" carpet by celebrity pals Cliff Curtis, Rose McIver, Frankie Adams, Madeleine Sami and Breakers star Tom Abercrombie.
"This will be the first time we have properly shown it to a Kiwi audience and we can't wait to see their reactions," Waititi said. "Fingers crossed they find it as funny as we do."
