His blog is often the origination point of many news items about Microsoft's consoles, and both fans and media alike often turn to Hryb for explanations when information about the Xbox ecosystem is revealed.
The Xbox One, revealed at an event in Washington in May, is expected to be released in November - although details as to exactly when are yet to be announced.
Gamers who pre-order the console will be entitled to a "day one" edition of the device, which will feature both a special engraving on the system's controller as well as an "exclusive achievement" - details for which have also not yet been revealed by Microsoft.
