Kylie Minogue has celebrated her 45th birthday by releasing a new song.
Skirt is the first taste of Minogue's material since signing with Jay-Z's management firm Roc Nation.
The dance track features the line "and then my skirt came down" over a melee of dubstep and electro beats.
It was written by The-Dream, who has previously written songs for Beyonce and Rihanna.
She has been working towards her twelfth album with several writers and producers, including fellow Australian Sia, Pharrell Williams and Lady Gaga producers Red One and Fernando Garibay.
Having recently joined Jay-Z's Roc Nation roster, Minogue hinted she would be testing new styles but that her new material would still have her DNA.
She said in a recent interview of her new approach: "It's bringing out something different in me, which is cool."
Meanwhile, Pharrell Williams has spoken out about a song he produced and recorded with her, titled The Winners.
The Daft Punk collaborator compared the process of making music with a pop singer to a stylist dressing a client.
"I think about the person, where they are in their life, what they're going through," he told entertainment website Vulture.
"I think about what's going to look good on their body. So I've got to put the right fabric, the right print, the right weight and feel. And then I've got to dress the window."
