Barely a week after a sell-out show in Auckland, American soul singer Aloe Blacc has announced he'll return to New Zealand for two more concerts.

The 30-year-old performer released his debut album, Shine Through, in 2006, and followed that up with last year's Good Things.

He is perhaps best known for I Need A Dollar, which was commissioned as the theme tune for the HBO series, How To Make It In America.
