Dell and The New Zealand Herald Business section are on the hunt for a Kiwi office stuck in the dark ages for a $25,000 technology transformation.

As part of its commitment to supporting small New Zealand businesses, Dell will award a deserving Kiwi business with the ultimate technology makeover.

Nominated businesses need to be located within the Auckland Supercity.

The winner will receive a range of Dell's latest small to medium business hardware to equip their team with the capacity, efficiency and productivity to compete on a global scale. In addition to Dell's leading office technology and NSP's on-site services, Microsoft and JB Hi-Fi will ensure the team relaxes in style with a state-of-the-art Xbox 360 and wide screen television.

2. The competition is open to New Zealand residents only and nominated businesses need to be located within the Auckland Supercity district. Entrants under 18 years of age must have the consent of their parent or guardian to enter the competition.

3. The New Zealand Herald and Dell reserve the right at their sole and absolute discretion to withdraw, cancel, suspend, modify and/or recommence this competition at any time, including if any their ability to fulfil their obligations is limited at any stage by any form of technical failure or other circumstance outside their control

4. The New Zealand Herald shall have the right to store electronically any photos or details that relate to the entry submission and to use the images or entry details free of charge in any of their print publications.

5. To enter the competition, entrants simply need to visit www.nzherald.co.nz/dell Once at this landing page, they then need to provide their full name, the name and physical address of the business they are nominating, a current and valid email address and day-time phone number phone number along with their written submission and any supporting photographs. The maximum size for each photograph is one megabyte. No more than 3 photographs can be submitted as part of an entry.

6. Entries must be received by The New Zealand Herald during the Promotional Period. The New Zealand Herald accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or for any person's inability to complete or continue an entry or for any inaccurate information that may have been supplied or not supplied (as the case may be) as a result of misuse or failure of any equipment, technical error, inaccurate data entry or deletion of data, transmission communication, software limitation or failure, website access, alteration to entry information, or any combination of the foregoing that may occur whilst entering the competition.

7. The competition commences on September 2, 2011. Entries are deemed to have been received at the time of receipt by the Promoters. The Promoters' records will be final and conclusive as to the time of receipt of an entry. Entries close at the end of September, 2011.

8. The winning entry will be judged by a representative of The New Zealand Herald and will be notified by telephone or email.

9. There will be one winner and the winner will receive the below prize package for their nominated business;

12. The New Zealand Herald reserves the right to request such further information as they may reasonably require in relation to an entry, including proof of identification or age. If a winner is under the age of 18 years their parent or guardian must give their prior written consent to the award of the prize.

13. The New Zealand Herald's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

14. Any breach of these Terms and Conditions will void an entry.

15. The prize is not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be taken for cash. If a prize is unavailable for any reason including due to unforeseen circumstances Dell may substitute another prize that the Promoters consider, in their sole and absolute discretion, to be of equal value, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority.

16. The winners consent to their name, image and all details relating to their entry being used for public relations and marketing purposes relating to this competition without compensation.

17. To the extent permitted by law, The New Zealand and Dell will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prizes or otherwise as a result of the competition.
