A spectacular school holiday programme specialising in creative arts is returning to Palmerston North.
D.R.E.A.M (Drama, Recreation, Educational, Arts, Movement) is a programme for children between five and 15 years, and is run by professional tutors with more than 30 years experience in the industry. Children will take part in drama, dance, theatre, music, comedy and pantomime.
This year's theme will be the famous television show H.R. Pufnstuf.
During the structured 40-hour week the children are split into age groups for fun individual projects. They will also work together as one for a stage production held on the last night.
The programme has had many successes and is the creation of Sydney-based producer Megan Hanley. The New Zealand-born artist has more than 35 years experience in the arts sector and has established this project in other areas across New Zealand including Hawkes Bay, Tararua and Wairarapa.
