Patterson back in telco role

Ross Patterson is set to return to the role of Telecommunications Commissioner in two weeks after a 10-month absence.

He stepped down last September to deal with an alcohol-related health issue.

Commerce Minister Simon Power said he was satisfied Patterson had met all the requirements for a return to work and had been keeping himself up to speed on telecommunications and commission matters.
