Harry Bateman made it a memorable double success at Mount Maunganui Golf Club on Thursday.
The Masterton golfer won the Latitude 37 Bar and Restaurant Mount Pro-Am and also clinched the Mondiale Order of Merit for 2017.
Bateman, 27, who won a Pro-Am at Mount Maunganui back in 2003, shot a fine eight-under 64 to win by a shot from Te Puke club pro Jared Pender and Pieter Zwart from Hawke's Bay.
Sam An and Rotorua's Victor Janin were next best on 66. There were another six players on 67 including Tauranga's European Tour player Josh Geary and Kieran Muir (Omokoroa).
Bateman fired nine birdies and a solitary bogey at the par three 14th hole to clinch the Mondiale Order of Merit. With five wins and three second placings he finished ahead of Mount Maunganui-resident Mark Brown and third placed Gareth Paddison.
