Students at Whakamaramara School have taken out the People's Choice Award in a national art competition for rural children.
The school, with 39-students, won an iPad and router for their efforts.
Each year dairy farmer cooperative LIC hosts an art competition for rural children who participate in calf club.
LIC spokesperson Clare Bayly said hundreds of entries were received but the "overwhelming favourite'' was Whakamaramara School.
She said the students' art work presented a range of "beautiful, colourful and original art work which wowed the judges,'' which were LIC staff and visitors.
