This weekend's Farah Palmer Cup match will see the Volcanix take on Counties Manukau Heat as the curtain raiser for the Mitre 10 Cup Steamers verse Otago match at the Tauranga Domain kicking off at 12.05pm tomorrow.

New Zealand Women's Sevens captain Sarah Goss would make her debut off
the bench for the Bay of Plenty Volcanix following her return from Rio de Janeiro. Nicole Cawthorn would shift to the left wing, moving Sapphire Tapsell to the right wing. Jimi-Leigh McLean would move into the half back position, and Parekura Whareaorere rounding off the back line, starting at second five.

The Volcanix forward pack was largely unchanged, with the exception of Ereti Williams returning to start at hooker and Lily Florence returning to the bench.

"We are looking forward to this weekend's match. The girls are continuing to grow together as a squad, creating some solid combinations throughout," head coach Brendon Webby said.

"We hope to test these combinations and put together a top class performance against a consistent Counties Manukau side."

Volcanix side to be captained by lock Kaci James.
