Update: Two men took a sum of money from the Superette in Brookfield before leaving on foot.

The men have been described as mid-height and slim-to-medium build. They had black scarves covering their faces.

One was wearing a black hoodie and a black basketball singlet with a green "9" on it. The other was wearing a black jacket with a grey and white checked top underneath.

Earlier: A store has been robbed in Brookfield.

A police spokesman said police were called to a robbery at a shop in Jude Pl at 8.40pm.

The spokesman said two people had entered the store, which was closed at the time.

The owners of the store were present.

No one was injured and no one has been arrested.

No further information was available at this time.
