Scooter rider and light truck collide

A scooter rider has been involved in a crash on a busy Tauranga street today.

The rider had been travelling through the roundabout intersection of Waihi Rd and Cambridge Rd about 1.25pm when she was in collision with a light truck.

Firefighters and ambulance staff are at the intersection.

A reporter at the scene said the rider did not appear to be badly hurt and traffic was flowing.
