A car crashing down a bank in residential Tauranga is the latest in a string of road incidents keeping emergency services busy this afternoon.
It is understood the car went down a bank between Vale St and Grange Rd, Otumoetai about 1.40pm.
A reporter at the scene said the 17-year-old driver had managed to get out of the car okay.
"She's shaken and stirred but not injured,'' the reporter said.
The car left the road as the driver was turning from Grange Road into Vale St, ending up on its side.
The incident comes minutes after a car crashed into a power pole on Fraser St about 1.35pm.
A reporter at the scene said the car was full of passengers and appeared to spin out before colliding with the pole at the intersection of 18th Ave.
Earlier today a man was taken to Tauranga Hospital after an emergency call out to Tauriko.
Acting Sergeant Andy Anderson said a truck driver had been informed some of his load was spilling and had pulled over on the side of Cambridge Rd, near the intersection with SH29.
He has then climbed out of the truck and either suffered some sort of medical event or industrial accident, Mr Anderson said.
