Children were excited to see the jolly man in red at Papamoa's inaugural Santa Parade.
The streets of Papamoa were packed with more than 5000 families to see 54 floats manned by playcentres, local businesses and cultural groups trek through the suburb.
Santa arrived in a white 1960 Cadillac and the parade was lead out by the City of Tauranga Pipe Band.
