New Zealand First leader Winston Peters has been delayed in his visit to Tauranga this morning.
Mr Peters was scheduled to met with Tauranga City councillors in Red Square at 9.30am but his plane from Auckland was cancelled, and so has the following Tauranga flight.
The party leader will now drive down to Tauranga to continue with a delayed itinerary which involved him visiting Mount main beach, a retirement village, Sulphur Point and the North Island Mussel Processors.
