Musician Stan Walker has been announced as the first lead in the casting of a multi-million dollar international hip-hop film 'Born to Dance' set to shoot in New Zealand in October 2014.
The former Mount Maunganui College student, best known for chart-topping songs Black Box and Holding You with GinnyBlackmore, has already starred in film as one of the leads in Mt Zion.
In Born to Dance, Walker will play the role of Benjy - a protagonist in the close-knit group of friends at the centre of the film.
