A Bay convicted paedophile is behind bars after admitting a raft of further sexual crimes against three victims, including attempted rape of a teenage girl.
Name suppression has lapsed for Trevor Richard Hall, 60s, after he pleaded guilty to 11 charges in Tauranga District Court yesterday, including sexual violation and assault against a boy aged 6-7 years at the time.
Two of the indecent assault charges Hall admitted were representative counts, which means the offences were committed more than once - he also attempted to rape one of the victims.
Hall's offending was committed in the Eastern Bay of Plenty and the Coromandel between 1996 and 2010.
His latest convictions come on the heels of a 12-months home detention sentence handed down in Tauranga District Court in December 2012 for four charges of indecently assaulting a 7-year-old girl earlier that same year.
