The sight of two young men walking across a park with two suitcases resulted in the arrest of two teens being arrested for burglary.
The 17-year-old and 19-year-old males are expected to appear in Tauranga District Court today after they were located and spoken to by police yesterday.
Senior Sergeant Shannon Clifford said an astute member of the public noticed two young men walking across a park in Kawera Grove about midday.
The information the person gave police enabled them to track down the two teens and locate goods stolen from a property in Longview Drive.
"It really just goes to show that when people ring in with information like that, it can have a really good result," he said.
