A Tauranga sickness beneficiary who admitted $2023.15 worth of benefit fraud has been sentenced to 100 hours' community work and ordered to pay full reparation.
Thomas David Eynon, 33, was sentenced in Tauranga District Court yesterday after he admitted two charges each of providing misleading information to obtain a benefitand using forged documents.
The charges stem from him dishonestly completing change of address and accommodation cost forms.
He was ordered to repay the benefit fraud debt back at $15 a week.
