Heavily armed police discovered three guns and methamphetamine at a Western Bay house yesterday - just a day after raiding a cannabis growing operation.
Officers swooped on the Upper Kaimai property yesterday following a raid on a cannabis-growing operation in Mount Maunganui on Wednesday.
Three Tauranga men are now facing drugs charges after the two armed police raids.
Three rifles and a small amount of P were found at the Kaimai house.
Detective Senior Sergeant Lindsay Pilbrow said the armed offenders squad was called in to help police search the property which was suspected to have been part of a methamphetamine operation.
