A Tauranga man charged with attempting to arrange for someone to murder his parents has denied the allegation.
Alan Francis Barlow, 42, denied the charge through his legal counsel when he appeared before Justice Paul Heath in the High Court at Tauranga today.
The Crown alleges that on October 12 this year Barlow approached an undercover police officer in Huntly and attempted to arrange for the murder of his parents to take place.
Barlow, who was further remanded on bail, is due back in the same court on March 12 for a case review hearing.
