Creative Tauranga and former Cargo Shed stallholders will present their proposals for the future of the building at a council meeting next week.
Tauranga City Council has asked the two parties to speak at the Projects and Monitoring Committee meeting on Monday.
The proposals will be required to align with the current purpose of the Cargo Shed, which is to provide a creative arts venue open to the public. The term of the agreement will be for the 12 month period from 1 July 2013.
They have been asked to provide information about the types of activities that would operate in the shed, the types of experiences that the public would have, audiences they expect to attract, opening hours, assistance required and promotion of the venue.
