This year's Tauranga Jazz Festival is set to be a winner.
The festival's director, Becks Chambers, told the Bay of Plenty Times her nerves were settled despite some sleepless nights.
"This close to a festival it's obviously a very busy time and there's lots to do and plenty going on and the whole team is pulling together to make everything happen."
"This has been full-time for me and about 4-5 other project managers who look after individual events so we're a very small team making this happen."
The 51st annual Jazz Festival is one of the world's oldest jazz festivals and one of the largest, boasting more than 40 events and performances.
