A well organised group of criminals are believed to be responsible for stealing a large amount of electronic equipment from the Warehouse Fraser Cove.
Detective Lou Curragh said the break-in occurred about 5am on Sunday.
The items stolen included i-Pads, phones, Xbox and Playstaion consoles and accessories, she said.
The alarm was activated but the burglars were gone by the time police arrived.
"It was well planned and executed. I'd say they were well organised so they had done their preparation."
Ms Curragh would not reveal the cost of the stolen goods or how the group got into the store.
Police were appealing for help from the public to identify and catch the thieves. Anyone who saw anything suspicious around Fraser Cove in the days before the burglary are asked to report it to police.
Such a well executed operation meant it was likely the burglars would have spent time hanging around the area in the days leading up to the burglary, Ms Curragh said.
The Fraser Cove Warehouse Stationery was also broken into early in the morning on November 28.
Thieves then stole high-end electronics such as smartphones and external hard-drives.
Ms Curragh said there were similarities in the two burglaries.
"Both files are still being investigated. It is very possible but there is nothing to say that there is a link - just that both were well organised."
Anyone with information about either of the cases should contact police on (07) 577 4300 and ask for Detective Lou Curragh. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
