Auckland's inter-club rugby league championship competition returns to Maori Television for a fifth year, starting on Saturday 14 June at 3.30pm.
Over the next 12 weeks, host Te Arahi Maipi, commentator Dale Husband and Rusty Matua will cover two games from rounds 10 to 18 of the FOX MEMORIAL SHIELD premiership, followed by play-off games and LIVE coverage of the grand final game.
Auckland Rugby League operations manager Tony Hardy says they are pleased to once again have Maori Television broadcasting the Appliance Shed FOX MEMORIAL SHIELD premiership matches.
"With Maori Television we are taking the Auckland game to a national audience, and we look forward to the coverage in 2014."
Each weekend there will be one game broadcast on Maori Television on Saturday at 3.30pm and the other on Sunday at 1.30pm.
