Marty gets really frustrated when people say things like "cut it out". His Dad used to say it to him all the time. But he doesn't understand how to "cut it out".
You see, Marty's brain is not wired properly and he takes everything anyone says to him literally. But that doesn't mean he's stupid. He's far from it, he just takes a bit longer to catch on. Then there's Marty's friend Luke, who's missing part of a leg. They've been mates for years.
Luke wants Marty to join some kind of scheme at school that is apparently going to make them rich.
Meanwhile, Marty is anxious because his Mum is going off overseas for some "me time", whatever that means. Dad's not happy.
And his sister is having a baby, Mum's happy about that - but Marty's not too sure if Dad is.
