Expat Whanganui driver Earl Bamber and his Porsche team finished third at the latest round of the World Endurance (sportscar) Championship at the Ardennes track in Belgium on the weekend.
Bamber, fellow Kiwi Brendon Hartley and Germany's Timo Bernhard teamed up to get their car home 35s behind the winning Toyota crew after 173 laps.
Bamber's team are now 17 points behind the Toyota trio in the driver's championship.
The series now moves to Le Mans for the iconic 24 Hour race, June 17-18.
