The Investec Super Rugby Trophy is coming to Whanganui.
Following the Hurricanes championship winning season this year the club is taking the trophy on a tour of its affiliated unions.
Hurricanes chief executive Avan Lee said it was important to share the team's success with the club's fans in the regions.
"Winning the Super Rugby title was a long time coming and we appreciate that a lot of people throughout the eight provincial unions that make up the Hurricanes region played their part in our success along with all our other fans across the country."
The 28kg Investec Super Rugby silverware will be in Whanganui on Tuesday, November 8 but Wanganui Rugby chief executive Bridget Belsham said details of when and where it will be on show have not yet been finalised.
