Local hopes will rest with Kerry Podjursky, Bevan Humphrey and Scott Duncan, although veteran racer Bob Smith has been on the pace in recent meetings.
In addition, the Superstocks will race for three memorial trophies, in memory of George Podjursky, Noel Kensington and Craig Heibner.
After winning the Noel Kensington Memorial last season, Kerry Podjursky will be looking to add his father's Memorial trophy to his collection.
A big field of Stockcars will share the billing, qualifying for the West Coast Stockcars tonight, with the finals to be held tomorrow afternoon.
Current 2NZ Dion Mooney will be the man everyone wants to beat.
Mooney has finished on the podium at almost every big event he has raced in this season.
Plenty of visiting competitors are expected, especially from Palmerston North, but Mooney will also face stiff competition from the likes of Mark Johnston and Brendon Tye, while Ron Tye has a reputation for deciding championships with his bumper.
The Stockcars have provided plenty of action this season, and this weekend should be no exception.
Almost 50 entries have been received for the Heiby Memorial Youth Ministocks.
Two groups will try to qualify tonight for tomorrow afternoon's finals.
Local hopes will centre on Dylan Smith, Trazarn Ryland-Annabel and Callum Sturzaker.
But they will face stiff competition from the likes of Huntly's West Coast Youth Ministocks winner Aaron Humble, Cameron Swift from Hawkes Bay and a host of Palmerston North, Stratford and Wellington racers.
The West Coast Streetstocks will also be decided tomorrow while Production Saloons and Sidecars will make up the afternoon programme.
Racing starts at 6.30pm tonight and 3pm tomorrow.
The club is offering a two-day family pass to attend both meetings at the reduced price of $50.
This promises to be an all-action meeting as the last championships of the season are decided.
