Revenge was on the menu for the Wanganui City Renovators as they claimed a solid 3-1 away victory over Massey in the Western Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
Meanwhile, back home at Wembley Park, local league fixtures provided plenty of spice leading into the final weekend of play.
The City Renovators travelled to Palmerston North short of a few of the usual names on the team card, but reinforced by the inclusion of a handful of players from within other club teams.
Massey had the measure of the development team in the last meeting, putting nine goals past the young side, but this was not to be a repeat.
Massey got on the scoresheet early in the fixture, but goals to Ben Hussey, as well as City's first team ring-ins Jordan Joblin-Hall and Reuben Warburton, ensured the Wanganui side were able to return home as convincing winners.
