Wanganui Judo Club's Aiden Voice finished off his cadet men's career in style at the 2014 National Judo Championship, held in Christchurch over the weekend.
Voice, who will now move on to senior competition, claimed the gold medal in the over 81kg class, and then backed it up with gold in the open weight class.
Kasey Watson, 15, the son of club coach Wayne, won silver in the under 81kg cadet men's class, in his first year at that age group after coming up from junior.
Meanwhile, City College Judo's Finn Brown added another gold medal to his growing tally in the cadet men's under 66kg division.
Brown, the North Island champion, won the national title after competing in multiple age divisions, as did club-mate Andrew Kinchella, amongst the five-strong team which attended the nationals.
