The fours team of Bernard Anderson, Desmond Pirere, Murray McAuley, and Jack Kale came fourth.
In a strong season for the Wanganui senior men's representative team, they claimed the Arnott Shield while the Development team won the Duckett Trophy.
The senior men were runners up at the hexagonal tournament, then reached the quarter-finals of the Bowls NZ national intercentre championships.
The men's masters team was third at their annual hexagonal competition at the Hutt Bowling Club.
Locally, Aramoho's Brendon Kenny was part of his first centre title with victory in the open triples, while gold stars were earned by Wanganui East's Maynell "Robbie" Robertson in the open pairs and Peter Raymond in the open fours.
For the women's milestones, the Wanganui East BC team finished fourth in Premier I at the Lion Foundation interclub Zone 4 regional playoffs in Wellington, while the Castlecliff/Rapanui composite came second in Premier II.
Dianne Patterson won the Bowls NZ club championship Zone 4 singles to qualify for the national finals in Dunedin, as did Sadie Head and Maria Klitscher who won the Zone 4 pairs.
Syria Prescott, Chrysa Munro and Eleni Meimaris were fourth in the Zone 4 triples, while Anne Loveridge, Nyla Gilmore, Kiwi Matthews and Patricia Flynn came second in the fours.
Dot Belliss would team with Peter Belliss to come third in the mixed pairs.
In representative play, the Wanganui senior women's team were second in the tri series, while the development team came third in their section.
The senior team were sixth at the hexagonal, then did not advance out of their section at the Bowls NZ national intercentre.
In the local events, four women claimed their first centre title during the champion of champions event.
They were Meimaris and Munro (Aramoho open triples), along with Gilmore and Matthews (Castlecliff open fours).
Gold stars were claimed by Head (Wanganui East open triples, seventh title), along with Diane Martin and Robin Evans (Wanganui East open fours).
Wanganui BC's Patterson and Dot Belliss earned bars to their gold star.
Patterson's 11th title was in the champion of champions singles, while Belliss got her 25th title in the open mixed pairs.
The Harvey Marble Player of the Year award went to Peter Belliss for the men and was shared between Patterson and Klitscher for the women.
