Artist Martin Law is inviting commissions to paint pictures of Whanganui buildings.
"I can paint people's own houses or buildings as well as buildings they admire," said Law who will be at Milbank Gallery in Bell St this weekend.
The artist is on a mission to "paint paradise", and he is moving around New Zealand, capturing the landscapes and architecture that catch his eye.
Law moved to New Zealand more than a decade ago after a long career working in London as an architectural perspective artist.
He said his is a skill that is not longer taught as current students are learning to draw with computer programmes.
