Children at the YMCA holiday programme in Whanganui have a range of opportunties this week.

While some polished up their perfoming abilities for a talent quest at the end of the week, others were learning to save lives.

After a morning spent swimming at the Splash Centre, children participating in the Oscar Kid Zone programme learned about first aid with Red Cross instructors.

The YMCA runs a number of programmes for children aged 5 - 13 every school holidays with options for camping, sports, performance arts, outings, cooking and art.
