I got one Wednesday morning with number on caller display. I googled the number and it originated from India ... As soon as he said tax evasion and court proceedings I knew it had to be a scam.
-Maureen Go

We had one and rung the police. Not much you can do about it but hang up. [I'm] just worried for the older people that don't understand.
-Janet Hartell

[I've] had many. Why is it nothing can be done about them?
-Valerie Gow

We had one. A message on the answerphone. Glad I never answer the phone!
-Cheryll Butters

Have had a few emails from "IRD" telling me I must file a tax return. Very professional in appearance. They provided a few links. I called IRD and forwarded the email to them for their info.
