Mina Holder will go a long way for charity - the length of the country in fact.
The 34-year-old is running the 3000km Te Araroa trail from the top to the bottom of the country and yesterday made it to Wanganui. Holder and her husband James have been living in New Zealand for just over a year she wanted to complete the run before they head back to Britain in February.
Holder aims to finish the run in 80 days with support from James and his brother Adam who also run on alternate days.
Yesterday afternoon Holder reached Upokongaro by kayak before running into the city. "I'm feeling great, strong."
She said the first few days had been tough but her body was getting used to clocking up high mileage - about a marathon a day.
