It's the second time Mrs Sutherland has played euchre in the Masters Games, and it's the second time she's won a medal.
"Of course, it's very nice to win a gold medal," she said.
Mrs Sutherland said she has played euchre for as long as she can remember, as her parents were keen on the game. And now she's pleased the generations following her are also playing.
"I taught Tracey everything she knows about euchre, and a lot more besides. She's a very, very good player."
Ms Smith said euchre was a social game and she enjoys coming to the Masters Games for the camaraderie.
"I like catching up with old friends and making new friends," she said.
"And I really enjoy spending time with my mum and nana."
