Fine weather is expected to be the order of the day as Wanganui people gather at a number of Anzac Day commemorative services tomorrow.
MetService said the anticyclone that has been dominating the weather across the country is expected to move away but will linger long enough to bring a mostly dry Anzac Day.
The weather at dawn tomorrow should be dry if not fine for Wanganui and much of the country but those attending the Dawn Service should wear warm clothing.
Wanganui's Dawn Parade will form outside the War Memorial Hall in Watt St at 5.20am ready to march to the cenotaph in Queens Park at 5.30am.
Before the parade moves off, Wanganui Mayor Annette Main and Wanganui RSA president Graeme Pleasants will each lay a wreath at the World War II memorial outside the hall.
