Nathan Guy caught up with The Country's Jamie Mackay today to chat about the latest GDT auction which dropped 3.2%. The Minister for Primary Industries isn't worried by the small dip though as he believes results will "bounce around a bit".
Jamie and Nathan also remember the 2011 Christchurch earthquake, catch up on a bit of weather and discuss a new report which shows a major improvement in bobby calf welfare.
Guy is pleased with initial findings in the report and praises efforts from farmers and transport operators but he says we "still have a wee way to go".
