Rotorua Boys' High School has taken out the New Zealand Secondary Schools Touch Championships.
The local side played Hamilton Boys' High School in the final this afternoon and won in a nail-biting game, 4-3.
The scores were tied 3-all at halftime, with Rotorua scoring in the second spell to take out the title.
The championships were held in Auckland.
Rotorua Boys' High School player Jayden Sargent was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player and he and teammate Jordan Tuakana-Hudson were named in the secondary schools tournament team.
