FORMER New Zealand Warriors captain Steve Price will tell you he's not much of a golfer.
That was evident when he said "be the ball" to one of the golfers lining up a shot on the No.6 tee at Rotorua Golf Club yesterday.
Price was the main drawcard at the annual Holland Beckett Rotorua Chamber of Commerce Golf Day - running an activity at one of the holes while meeting the players taking part. He also gave a talk about some of his experiences as a rugby league player after the golfing event.
Each year, Rotorua Chamber of Commerce invite a famous sports person along to their golfing event to attract more teams.
Last year, world-famous caddy Steve Williams was on hand to give some golf tips and this year Price was the big name taking part.
