Models have taken to a Rotorua catwalk rocking vintage outfits and bicycles as their main accessories.
The Frocks on Bikes Froctober Fashion Show was held in the Galleria at the Rotorua Lakes Council tonight.
Organiser and council's sustainable transport officer Natasja du Plessis said the venue looked "so beautiful" andLuna Vintage Prop and Party Hire had done a great job dressing up the Galleria.
It included a photo booth with frames set up and a refreshment stand.
She said, including the models, there were about 120 people at the event.
She said she hoped people would see they did not have to wear their exercise gear to cycle, and could do things such as bike to town in their dress for a bit of shopping.
"Hopefully from this people can see it's not just about exercise but enjoying the fresh air and our beautiful city."
"It's a great event because it shows how much fun it can be to use your bike and the cycle ways in Rotorua.
"I just love the whole vintage theme. It's great fun dressing up."
Rotorua's Stuart Bootten, a regular bike rider currently training for a Half Ironman, also hit the catwalk.
He said anything that encouraged the community to get out in the fresh air and healthy environment was a good idea.

Local Simon Bell said he thought Rotorua was "the perfect town for an event like this".
Electric Bike Rotorua owner Fiona Simmonds said they had two bikes in the show.
She said she thought the event was "fabulous".
"We are a bike town so it's neat to have some fun, different things with bikes."
Mrs du Plessis said they were grateful to their sponsors for the spot prizes, Adrienne Whitewood from Ahu Boutique, Tammy Colishaw from The Living Room Collective, Siobain Higgins from Mistress of Cakes and Fiona Simmonds from Electric Bike Rotorua.
