The popularity of Nightmare at the Museum continues to rise as ticket sales surged this week.
With all timeslots on the Friday and Saturday nearly sold out Rotorua Museum and Wildside Promotions have decided to release a new night on Sunday August 7.
Rotorua Museum Event Coordinator Kathy Nicholls is ecstatic with the level of interest and rate of ticket sales.
"In the past Nightmare has always been a popular event, however because it has been 3 years since it last ran we did have little niggling concerns about whether the community would respond and thankfully they have in the most positive way".
"Introducing new walk times on Sunday means we are able to meet growing demand and those who weren't able to secure their preferred timeslots on either Friday or Saturday now have the chance to purchase them for Sunday. While there are new timeslots available tickets will sell quickly so our call to those interested is do get in quick as no more nights will be added" said Ms Nicholls.
Tickets for the new walk times are $15 per person and available from Rotorua Museum reception and online at Eventfinda.co.nz. The number of walks released for this night are limited and the number of participants in each walk set at a maximum of 5.
The event is restricted to people aged 13 and older - so students should bring along ID as proof of age.
The walk nights are Friday August 5, Saturday August 6, and Sunday August 7.
