A massive 65-tonne chip dozer is set to stop traffic this morning as it is moved to its new home.

The chip dozer, which is the biggest of its type in the world, has been put together by Gough Cat Rotorua and will this morning be moved from the Te Ngae Rd workshop to its new home at Kinleith.

The loader weighs 65 tonnes, is 5m wide, more than 4m high and is worth more than $2 million.

Parts were imported from USA and it was put together at Gough Cat.
