The Rotorua Lakes Council received 39 noise complaints over the weekend from eastside residents.

The complaints were received between 5.43am on Saturday and 7.12am on Monday.

The community has been having issues with the ongoing noise from Lumbercube with more than 1300 noise complaints since Lumbercube opened in September.

The council said it acknowledged the community's concerns and still wanted to hear from people so they could understand what was happening and what they could do about it.

A statement on the council's website said it would be gathering more information like the time of the noise, what type of noise it was and the direction it came from.
